(SJRLC's
Premiere Initiative
for Continuing
Education)
is a broad offering of
highly affordable workshops, trainings, classes and continuing
education opportunities available to you and your staff. Just as a
spice brings zest to any meal, enhancing the flavor of each
ingredient, SPICE will enhance the "flavor" and quality of
your buffet of library services.
- E-Learning
Opportunities: Enjoy
the convenience of self-paced classes, taken at a time and place of
your choosing, 24/7. SJRLC is partnering with Computer Insight
Learning to bring you a wide variety of web-based classes. We will
begin by offering a suite of classes covering the most popular
Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Access. Other software
applications like DreamWeaver, as well as non-technology classes will
soon be offered.
- Multimedia
Training Library: Take
advantage of SJRLC's growing library of cd-roms, video tapes,
available to you for internal staff training. Borrow such
favorites as the "FISH" video, or use a self-paced cd-rom to
teach yourself DreamWeaver, Photoshop and more.
- Training
to Go SPICE
offers you customized
on-site training on topics that are important to you. SJRLC will
continue to schedule classes and workshops at convenient locations
across South Jersey on a variety of topics.
