Training and Programs
  • Current Training Schedule: Classes and workshops scheduled around the Region.
  • Resources from Workshops (powerpoints, wikis, and more)
  • ToastMasters Group  Learn to be a top-notch public speaker at SJRLC's very own ToastMasters chapter!
  • Trading Spaces Project
  • SPICE: (SJRLC's Premiere Initiative for Continuing Education) is a broad offering of highly affordable workshops, trainings, classes and continuing education opportunities available to you and your staff. Just as a spice brings zest to any meal, enhancing the flavor of each ingredient, SPICE will enhance the "flavor" and quality of your buffet of library services.
  • E-Learning Opportunities: Enjoy the convenience of self-paced classes, taken at a time and place of your choosing, 24/7. SJRLC is partnering with Computer Insight Learning to bring you a wide variety of web-based classes. We will begin by offering a suite of classes covering the most popular Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Access. Other software applications like DreamWeaver, as well as non-technology classes will soon be offered.
  • Multimedia Training Library: Take advantage of SJRLC's growing library of cd-roms, video tapes, available to you for internal staff training.  Borrow such favorites as the "FISH" video, or use a self-paced cd-rom to teach yourself DreamWeaver, Photoshop and more.
  • Training to Go  SPICE offers you customized on-site training on topics that are important to you. SJRLC will continue to schedule classes and workshops at convenient locations across South Jersey on a variety of topics.
  • Special Programs and Events
  • Other Continuing Education Opportunities
  • Upcoming Conferences
