What
libraries can learn from bookstores: Applying bookstore design to public
libraries. Bookstore owners and managers have spent much time
and money experimenting how to entice customers into their stores and help
them select and buy books. This article explores how librarians might

Web page supports a presentation for the Public Library Section of the
Kansas Library Association at Hesston, Kansas on September 11, 2003 by
Chris Rippel, Central Kansas Library System, Great Bend, Kansas. )
