Library Success
Wiki A Best Practices Wiki. This wiki was created to be a
one-stop-shop for great ideas and information for all types of librarians. All
over the world, librarians are developing successful programs and doing
innovative things with technology that no one outside of their library knows
about. There are lots of great blogs out there sharing information about the
profession, but there is no one place where all of this information is collected
and organized.

Lessons
From the Nordstrom Way: Discussion Guides and Action Strategies:
NJLA's "Leading Through Reading" encourages
all library staff to develop their work expertise through reading. This program
is a portable, shareable continuing education opportunity that is available to
all staff in every library. It offers public, academic, school and
special library staff common ground for collaborating with each other.
The workshop in 2004 focused on
Lessons From
the Nordstrom Way, by Robert Spector. The documents linked above can be
used by staff at every library, to stimulate discussion about improving customer
service, and to form and implement an action plan.
