Kathy Schrock, webmaster of Discovery’s Kathy Schrock’s Guide for Educators at school.discovery.com/schrockguide, author, speaker, and Internet guru, is the SCILS Alumna of the Year for 2004. Kathy will be honored at a dinner at the Rutgers Club on Friday, November 19 at 6 PM. Kathy will be speaking at the dinner on Technology Gadgets. This will be a fun evening! The cost for the dinner will be $40. CISSL and EMAnj are co-sponsoring a colloquium from 4-5:30PM in the Scholarly Communication Center at Alexander Library before the dinner. Kathy’s topic there will be Planting the Seeds of Change: The New Information Literacy Skills. There is no charge for the colloquium and all are invited, but you must pre-register.
